I believe we use autogenereated communityfiles.
Is this repo involved in any way in the process?

if not, we could archive it

at least https://github.com/freifunk/directory.api.freifunk.net/blob/master/directory.json does not reference these files any longer.

And I don't know of any other resource linking to here. So yes, why not
