Hi @firegloves when you have time I would like to discuss the need to integrate the need to select the way to get the data to export.

In my point of view the Model and View are too much linked in the actual version of MemPOI, I would like to help you to improve this weakness.

I suggest you to slowly thinking to a version 2.0.0 of MemPOI including a functional interface between the datasource (currently SQL) and the export.

This functional interface will allow developers to :

1. Give a list of input and an export mapping configuration per object.
2. Develop and register plugin (like spring-jpa repository as data-model, spring-jdbc as datasource, api-rest as datasource)

Currently, I'm limited with MemPOI, then I have to mix Apache POI/MemPOI in production.
