slow startup of gnome applications

Gnome apps are taking almost 10 seconds to start..can it be caused by issue #72 ?? This issue happened after arch upgrade. Am using i3 as window manager

Also experiencing this in arch linux arm, kupfer's fork for Oneplus 6 enchilada

Also for firefox, thunderbird and transmission-gtk, 30 seconds before start using Vanilla Arch with a WM.
I removed in order toolbox, flatpack, xdg-desktop-portal and then xdg-desktop-portal-xdg and the apps started withing one 1 sec.

Is this related to flatpak/xdg-desktop-portal#1032 or is this a separate issue?
