Monitoring with Prometheus - Explination on changing values

It would be great if there was a section of this guide (https://fluxcd.io/flux/guides/monitoring/) on how to update the values from the helm-chart, as it is not added directly but through a manifest. It's unclear if customizations can be chained (though that is probably a lack of understanding on my part).

Alternatively, it should be recommended to not use the guide in production, rather than to review the helm chart documentation without instructions on how to implement desired changes/differences from the guide.
