Hi, Have you ever tried to check the results of OSOAA MIE scattering calculation? I found in the log_aer.txt (/Advanced_outputs/log_aer.txt) that there is a difference between the calculated aerosol phase function and the calculated result of the Giss's FORTRAN code (https://www.giss.nasa.gov/staff/mmishchenko/ftpcode/spher.pbrf.f). For details, you can check the results of the Scattering cross-section and Asymmetry factor. Do you have any idea?

Hi Tianfeng-Pink,
I'm interested in this topic since I use different codes for both VRTC and single scattering computation.
What kind of differences did you observe? spectral, order of magnitude...?
Could you provide any settings you use (e.g., size distribution and parameters) or illustrative figures.

Hi Tristanovsk,
Actually, I consulted my advisor and he said that it was most likely that I had set the parameters wrong...
I am also doing some problems related to the simulation of single scattered radiation transmission. Can I talk to you a little bit more about this?
