With the latest version, if I scroll to the bottom of the page, the whole page reloads and jumps to the top.

From a usability standpoint, this is painful. It is important to be able to scroll as far as I want and not be thrown back to the top. I have no idea where the bottom is and there is no value to jump to the top like that.
