[Feature Request] Cursor position in git commit template

Would be nice to be able to set the cursor position in the git commit template. Eg. my template is "Issue # - ", so it would be very handy to place the cursor after the pound sign.

ChatGPT talks about Vim and VSCode maybe supporting something like "" to designate that - but I don't find any pages talking about that. But it could be one way of implementing it.
