Feature request: gRPC Support

Thank you for this great repo. I would love to have gRPC support.
Is this on your roadmap?

@khanjasir90 There is no prior work on this issue. It involves starting from scratch and building the feature end to end right from the UI design stage to architecture and implementation.

I looked for the possibilities and plausible options and created a small doc
The project was listed with 90 hours which is like a smaller project in GSOC terms. Is it possible to increase the timeframe if the scope increases?

Like in the doc, the first approach is a medium to large-sized project so I wanted clarity around what scope of solution is expected.

Let me know your thoughts on this.
