Is there a way to read from the txpool (i.e., mempool) within scripts?

Now that I've gotten used to the Foundry way, I'd prefer to move away from Hardhat and do all my mempool monitoring with Foundry/Solidity.

I haven't yet figured out how to read pending transactions in the mempool using a Solidity script. I've been searching the book and docs for a while and still haven't found any info on that, so I thought to ask here while I continue my search:

• How can we read current txpool pending events using a Foundry script written in Solidity without relying on JS inputs?
