Fancybox 2 requires commercial websites to purchase a license.
It would be nice to have the option to use version 1.x of Fancybox which is free of charge even for commercial websites. http://fancybox.net/

Hey Zauberfisch! Cheers, will have a look into this when I get a chance. If there is demand I might add a few different js libraries for displaying the images.

hey, sweet
please make sure that you put all third party stuff into the thirdparty folder.
and please carefully consider which thirdparty lib should be included, I only want to include things that one uses in almost every project.

might I also suggest https://github.com/dimsemenov/Magnific-Popup
I switched to that one now, for several reasons:

  • better responsive/adaptive behaviour
  • better performance
  • no images used, so I can easily combine the CSS into my combined files
  • easier to customise
  • better license than fancy box 2

Yes fair enough, thanks for the link @Zauberfisch, I'm fairly busy at the moment but will try and look into this soon.
