I've done a bit of refactoring of binary-types in my fork, and would love to get these changes merged upstream.

I've tried to submit a pull request, but get an error Pull request creation failed. Validation failed: must be a collaborator.

I note that 2 existing pull requests haven't been merged since 2012 and 2013 and it seems like 10 years is probably long enough to review them. :-)

What do you intend to do with BINARY-TYPES? If there are no future plans, may I suggest transferring it to sharplispers, "A group of Common Lisp hackers who occasionally maintain otherwise abandoned or quasi-abandoned Common Lisp software packages"

Hey, my apologies for the very slow response. Indeed I have stopped working on this repository. I'd be happy to transfer it to yourself or something like sharplispers if you want?
