Is there a way to customize the theme to have something similar to Mintlify navbar/navMenu Links? I saw the notebook option but is a bit different, search bar is smaller and links are on the same raw, it woud be great to center the search bar at the top from a ux point of view.

I had a similar need. I ended up creating my own notebook layout and eventually a custom navbar component. It's a bit of work, but I guess the best way if you want something custom.
Also consider using the Fumadocs CLI for installing things like layouts, then modify as needed.

Yep it is how I expected for tuning the UI of Fumadocs if you have further customisation needs. I personally prefer a thinner navbar for notebook layout

I agree with you, I was asking because I don’t have much experience; I’ve read the documentation and seen how to add components using the CLI, but it’s not clear to me how to modify the notebook layout. Should I create a new one and import with CLI all the imports it contains? it includes also other files besides the components. Sorry for the ‘basic’ question.. could you explain how to integrare the commit you provided above?

Run fumadocs add and find the notebook layout option, install it, and you should see components being downloaded. Use the new DocsLayout in your codebase instead of importing from fumadocs-ui/layouts/docs, and you can start modifying them.
