In order to serialize grouped items separately (e.g. the ContactProbe, 
WifiProbe, CallLogProbe) we should normalize their grouping name.  Instead of 
CALLS, CONTACTDATA, and SCAN_RESULTS, we should call them all _ITEMS_.    This 
will allow us to pull them apart easily in scripts.
