Hi

It would be nice with a option that makes it only redirect if you're logging in,
This would make it possible to see the Home-page

Hi, thanks for using it and share your thoughts.

But... I am not sure this can be implemented in a correct way. The intention of redmine-startpage is to change the Home page from the existing one. As this is changed, the "Home" button will redirect you to the new page.

The question is... is it possible to successfully capture that the user's navigation is coming from a login? And... if we change this, will this interfere with the case the user is clicking a link of an specific page and have been redirected to login page to authenticate and then be redirected to the link he/she was trying to navigate to?

Probably, the successful implementation of that would be to substitute the "Home" link for a new one that sends the user to the original Home page, but I think this will require some investigation.

And currently I have no much time to do it. But I leave this issue opened, to remember it in the future.

Best regards.
