<li class="fragment">Reporting, keeping tabs, tracking progress, staying on point... has been difficult and felt impersonal.</li>

<h3>SO... Changes.</h3>

<li class="fragment">Each event will have an assigned <strong>Chapter Lead</strong></li>
<li class="fragment">The Chapter Lead will be who you report to, coordinate with, and get help from.</li>
<li class="fragment">Each Core Chapter Leader will be assigned to 1-2 events per month (one of which will likely be a multipart workshop).</li>
<li class="fragment">Each event will have (an) assigned <strong>Attending Lead</strong>(s) who attends the event, assists with setup, brings supplies and swag, gives GDI introduction, etc.</li>
<li class="fragment">The assigned Chapter Lead and Attending Lead(s) do not need to be the same.</li>
</ul>

<h3>Soooo....</h3>
<p class="copy--small box">The assigned Chapter Lead should help get you started, work with you through the pre-planning steps, regularly check in with you to see that things are going smoothly and help guide you along the way.</p>
<p class="copy--small box--small">Chapter Leads will report progress to Core Team.</p>
<p class="copy--small box--small">No more Monday Slack checkins.</p>
<p class="copy--small box--small">Organizer Meetup every 2-3 months (?)<br/><small>to assign events, refine processes, socialize.</small></p>

<h3>Ultimately...</h3>
<p class="box copy--small">This will afford you more autonomy and increase participation in the event planning and prep process.</p>
<p class="copy--xsmall">Instead of working distantly with all of us, you'll be working closely with one of us.</p>

<p class="box copy--xsmall">Organizers get a 25% cut of event proceeds, this can be divided multiple ways<br/>(between Event Lead, assigned Chapter Lead, and Attending Lead - if needed).<br/>Discuss appropriate division of proceeds with your Chapter Lead post-event.</p>
