in the commercial model for Vietnam I noticed that some taxonomy strings contain the undocumented occupancy attribute COM12. In any of the GEM Taxonomy descriptions (Versions 1, 2, 3.1, 3.2 and 3.2.1) I cannot find an description of what COM12 means.
Is this a special extension for Vietnam? Or is this meant to be a combination of COM1 and COM2 for trade in general?
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks

In regions such as Southeast_Asia and South_America the detailed economic activity follows the divisions proposed in the census data, but they are not in agreement with the GEM Taxonomy. We are currently reviewing the GEM taxonomy and the exposure models to address this issue.
The next version of the models will address this issue.
Good to know. Could you please let me know what COM12 and COM1B stand for so that I can convert it correctly? Otherwise I would have to replace COM12 and COM1B with COM possibly losing valuable information.
Regarding the GEM taxonomy occupancy classes: in my team we have expanded the GEM taxonomy for occupancy attributes significantly so that we can cover everything that we are able to detect. I'd be happy to have a discussion about this issue.
