PMID:18556656 does not classify PRKCE as calcium dependant (PKCε and -δ are among the DAG-dependent novel category (δ, ε, η, and θ), and PKCα is among the DAG- and calcium-dependent classic category (α, βI, βII, and γ),) and UniProt summarises both PRKCE and PRKCI as Calcium-independent, phospholipid- and diacylglycerol (DAG)-dependent serine/threonine-protein kinase so I have left these as they are. There is no mention of calcium in the PRKCI article. Also we have a TAS annotation to this term for PRKCD which is also described by UniProt as calcium independent (and in the PMID:18556656 article) - so I have left this annotation,

Hi Pascale, did you see my comments that PRKCD, PRKCE and PRKCI are Calcium-independent so I can't annotate them to the calcium dependent term?

Thanks for the reminder. @hattrill and I have looked at this again earlier this week and we now have

. . GO:0004699 diacylglycerol-dependent, calcium-independent serine/threonine kinase activity

so I think you can use GO:0004699 (this should have been a suggestion above). Does that help?
