Hi guys,

I struggle to run blobtools around 2 months. I didnt find any solution in my computer. I download local computer and also server. I run blobtools, everything seems to run very well. I didnt acces any view option. Also which installion method good I didnt understand. May be ,I misunderstand installion. When I run view option. I get this error 'Unable to connect to API at http://localhost:8001/api/v1'
Can you help me ? Its so mix for beginner in Linux. If it is possible can you add some pipeline from fasta file, It would be useful for beginner.

Sorry I'd let your issue go stale

If you haven't got this working, then for interactive use I'd recommend installing and starting up the Viewer and API binaries separately using these instructions.

If you want to use blobtools view to generate plots on the command line, you can pass the --plot flag to blobtools view to have it use an alternate plotting library that doesn't involve spinning up a web browser., e.g.

blobtools view \
    --plot \
    --view snail \
    /path/to/BlobDir
