After INC-71 I said I would start a playbook in the README here in this repo for how to handle failures. I'm starting a ticket here to collect ideas that can then be collated into a document.

add release-blocker to the release ticket (i.e., this one), manually edit changelog on release branch, and proceed

I think this process needs to be documented and maybe even streamlined.

Came up in INC-95 under getsentry/self-hosted#1206 as well.

Current idea is to add more contextual help in-line on publish ticket comments.
