Sorry for the late response, but I'm not sure what you mean - My experience is usually that i'm only inside a preview window a short time, and then when i leave the preview window is closed. Are you opening splits or something else inside a preview window that makes the cursor move around?

If you can explain how to reproduce this, that would be great!
