I've had a request from a colleague relating to the Hidden from Students designation not showing on section headers in Collapsed Topics course format.

Moodle 4.4.2 (Build: 20240812)

Collapsed Topics
format_topcoll
404.1.0
2024032802

"The new Moodle looks great, but there used to be tags on sections with "Hidden from students". It looks like the section heading is now changed to italics when it's hidden. It's such a subtle change that I normally miss it and panic that a bunch of material is visible to students which shouldn't be yet. Would it be possible to get the "Hidden from Students" tag back for Sections please?"

To recreate:

Set up a course using Collapsed Topic Course Formats
Hide some of the Section headings
The label indicating that it is hidden has gone.

Is it the case that the Hidden from Students label for the section headings in Collapsed Topics format has been superseded by lighter colour italic text? If so could we give feedback please that the Hidden from Students designation was helpful for our users.

CT Hidden from students

Thank you.

@CGCUofG This appears to be a bug and will be partially fixed in the next version for M4.5. Given the current state of things and my priorities I'm unlikely to backport to the M4.4 version anytime soon if at all. The M4.5 version will also be a while as I need to refactor it to make it easier to maintain with all the core API changes.
