Refer this WeeWX user group thread.

Currently petal colours applied to a percentage range of speeds (eg the bottom 10% of speeds are green etc) so over time a given colour represents a varying band of speeds. It would be useful to assign petals colours to bands of absolute speeds (eg 0-2 km/hr is green).
