How to manually add icons

Can't wait for an update and want to add an icon to your device yourself? You've come to the right place! Follow the steps below and you'll be sporting a new icon on your springboard in no time.

This icon request will be used as a reference for this guide.

Step 1: Assuming you have saved the icon to your computer already, rename it with the name found under theiPhone Icon Name heading of a icon request. (In this case: [email protected])

iPhone Icon Name

Step 2: Create a new folder, and rename it with the information under the Bundle ID heading. (In this case: com.disney.TempleRunOz)

Bundle ID

Step 3: Place the icon inside the folder you just created.

Step 4: Using a filesystem browser like iFunBox or DiskAid or via SSH, navigate to /Library/Themes/Glasklart Icons.theme/Bundes/

Step 5: Add the folder you created into this location (/Library/Themes/Glasklart Icons.theme/Bundes/).

Step 6: On your iDevice, open WinterBoard, deselect and re-select Glasklart Icons, and respring.

You should now have the icon successfully added, if not you can troubleshoot the problem by making sure you've named things appropriately. If that doesn't work, you may want to post on comment on the icon request. Others can help you fix the problem and we will be able to get the icon properly added to the theme.

Note: You can also use iFile (from Cydia) to accomplish this if you know your way around the filesystem.
