Replace M2Crypto

The M2Crypto library entered maintenance mode. See:
https://pypi.org/project/M2Crypto/ , https://sr.ht/~mcepl/m2crypto/
It will have no feature updates and it is unclear how long it will be maintained.
So it should be replaced, e.g. with PyCA/cryptographyPyCA/cryptography

Describe the solution you'd like
Replace M2Crypto w/ something equivalent in the whole codebase.
It will be sufficient for GWMS >= 3.11.x. No need to change 3.10.x
