Describe the bug
Not being able to apply links with variables in hsm

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to Templates
  2. Create a new template with any variable
  3. You won't see any option for inputting variable
  4. And on applying the template will fail because there is no variable in example
