Deleting points seems to leak memory/cpu somehow, ultimately crashing the page #246

Reproduced at least 3 times - all started when I would start deleting points. Every point would make it 2x as slow, leading to crash. The entire app - I could go back and do other things, and it would still be progressively slower based on how many I deleted.

I know this was like forever ago, but I recently had a project where I was deleting a bunch of path points. I was using Edge (which is Chromium, so I assume it also is like this for Chrome) and I experienced the crashing.

Switched to FireFox, and it never crashed.

So if you are here from the future with this problem, please let me know... but also try FireFox.
