I'm using Firefox 46 on Debian Testing and since the upgrade I can no longer see radio/check buttons. I can only see them after they are in "active" state, but not when they are in "inactive" state.

I've been using this extension for as long as it exists, and this is the first time I have this issue. It is not present on 45-.

As an example, using Firefox 46 and this extension, try this website: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/input/checkbox

There are 2 checkboxes bellow "Example". They are invisible to me, until I "check" one of them. Even after that, I can only see the "check", not the button border.

Thanks for the report. Can you give me your version of GNOME gnome-shell --version and GTK pkg-config --modversion gtk+-2.0? What are your GTK and shell themes? Do you have any other appearance extensions or userstyles installed? Screenshot?

I have the same issue but on Ubuntu 16.04. On Parabola, with about the same config, no problem.

$ gnome-shell --version
GNOME Shell 3.20.1
$ pkg-config --modversion gtk+-2.0
Package gtk+-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `gtk+-2.0.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'gtk+-2.0' found

Related to #405. It's a firefox issue with gtk+ 3.20.

Edit: Specifically here is the bug report: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1262136

The issue seems to have been fixed on firefox 46.0.1

Fixed in Firefox 47. Granted, border margins and paddings are still not ideal, but at least all elements have proper borders again to allow them to be noticed and usable.

...or it might as well have been 46.0.1 as @hackedbellini suggests. I can at least confirm it working with Firefox 47, though default input element margins and paddings are not ideal.

Is this really an issue for this add-on to begin with?

Per https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1262136 this will be fixed in Firefox 48, which is only landing beg. of August.

47.0.1 was released today, no mention of a backport.

@lkraav with https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1234158 in Firefox 47, the issue described has already been resolved. No need to wait for 48.

Hm, as far as I can see status-firefox47: wontfix pretty clearly states nothing is happening for FF47, because https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1234158#c117

Uplifting this to 47 would also require uplifting the dependencies of this
bug. Each of those alone is not too major a change, but together it is significant. This is really late in the cycle to do all that, and I don't have the time to check it all and see whether there are further conflicts.

I have FF47 running, skipped 46 because of the lack of input borders, and now I have them again. What matter more? A status set somewhere or the fact that it's working again?

Well I'm here because everything listed problematic in the bug is still broken on my FF47. Have no idea how things are working better for you, while at the same time upstream bugs are saying FF47 hasn't received the relevant patches.
