AMD, AMD + NVIDIA, 64G RAM, etc., with Primary Display (Laptop Panel) Only
Windows 11 24H2 2024-12 Update
WSL2 WSLg Latest
Podman 5.3.1 Remote
Octave container image pulled with tag:latest - IMAGE ID: eda4d4ad5d2d

I attempted above setup and while the console mode loads to prompt, the GUI mode won't turn on because Octave is unable to connect to X11 display. I tried setting up the DISPLAY variable several different ways including (empty), ":0", and with host IP address etc., but I don't have a clear understanding of how to get it working.

My system is an extreme laptop with AMD, AMD + NVIDIA, 64G RAM, etc., and I was trying to get this working on the primary (built-in) laptop display, without any other displays connected.

Is the title configuration supported? If so, maybe you could update the documentation (README.md) with the instructions on setup, and if not, maybe you could consider supporting this configuration.

This setup has not been tested on MS Windows machines so far.

Would a cross build Version of Octave be more suited for working with this operating system? https://octave.org/download#ms-windows
