Plugin Description
A Plugin to re-expose the default DLSS Upscaling presets (DLAA, Quality, Balanced, Performance, Ultra Performance), to the end-user in game rather than rely on external modding tools requiring restarts to alter presets.
More info
The current DLSS Deployment in FFXIV has multiple problems as of the Initial 7.0 Launch, and while an addon has come out to fix one of the problems (JitterFix), there are still multiple other issues with the deployment. Most end-user facing issue being DLSS (and any Temporal Upscaling solution modded in via DLL swapping like FSR2/3.1 or XeSS), having no in-game control over the resolution it renders internally at, and defaulting back to TSCMAA if the game is hitting a 30 or 60fps target.
While there is a technically a solution to this, said method is heavily flawed as it requires registry edits and ini editing on the part of the end-user (even if they are just trying to re-tune DLSS itself), and more obstructively, requires restarts between changing variables.
So a plugin to re-expose the default DLSS Presets in-game and allow the user to swap between them without having a restart of the game would be extremely useful and go to fix one of the major problems with the deployment (and potentially make troubleshooting issues with buffers when using DLSS easier as DLSS would no longer be stuck at a specific res and a tester would no longer need to restart between changing presets to make sure a fix stuck at any given DLSS render resolution)
