Plugin Description

The plugin would allow you to replace target dummy models by a specific NPC.

More info

Add a contextual menu to the target dummy with the following:

  • Change model: This lets you select NPCs from a list. The list could be in a pop-up window with previews of each NPC.
  • Change pose: Lets you choose a pose for the NPC from a list. The list could be in a pop-up window.

Once the HP of the target dummy reaches zero, the NPC would play it's fainting animation and stay in that state for a few seconds and then reset to the selected pose. If this is impossible, this feature could simply be omitted.

Examples of NPCs:

  • Valens van Varro: A hated character that used teenagers as living cores for weapons of war.
  • Wuk Lamat: A divisive character many people suffered or loved through the MSQ.

Purpose:

  • Blowing off some steam.
  • Fun.

Concerns:

  • Could potentially be used for some hateful or distasteful content (a gun can be used for crimes too, it depends on the user). Not everyone who hates the character or the voice acting is a [insert] phobe. If your only response to criticism is "you just hate them for xyz minority reason". Then you need to take off your rose-tinted glasses and understand that people are allowed to criticize something they think is subpar. Not everything is a personal attack.
  • A search using key words was performed prior to the submission to ensure the idea was not already submitted.
  • Meets all plugin guidelines as the change would only affect the client and submit no server information.

I’m really not sure what you thought you were achieving by adding this…
