OS/device including version:

Godot 4.3
Windows 11 24H2, 14700K
RTX 4080, 565.90

Issue description:

When you kill an enemy for the first time (after having shot him a few times), the game stutters when he dies.
Additionally, the game sometimes stutters when you shoot for the first time. (May be related to #43)

Which Godot version are you using? The shader precompilation tricks are no longer in place in the master branch of this demo, since they were obsoleted in 4.4.dev by godotengine/godot#90400 (see #191).

That said, even in earlier ports to 4.x of this demo, I remember the shader precompilation tricks not working anyway.

@MattParkerDev Can you test 4.4.dev5 on this demo and see if there's still stutter in this situation?
