CLI v0.1.22 enters infinite loop #479

Description of the bug:
am using @google/gemini-cli and have encountered a critical bug.
CLI Version: The issue started immediately after upgrading from 0.1.21 to 0.1.22.
Behavior: When the Google API backend returns a specific server-side error, version 0.1.22 of the CLI enters an infinite retry loop, rapidly exhausting the API quota.
Workaround: Downgrading to version 0.1.21 stops the infinite loop (the command fails cleanly after one attempt with the server error).
This suggests a bug in the error-handling logic of v0.1.22.
