Description

A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

https://x.com/fffw2/status/1847563222217609362?t=FOMu9TvvAmjgdapaau0Ojg

カタカナの「ノ」が「丿」に化けているミステリーの謎が解けた。Google日本語入力、お前の仕業か……。丿乀(へつほつ)ぐらいでしか使わないマイナーな漢字をしれっと放り込んでこないでくれ。

Image

むっ、何故か字西ノ久保と字下ノ人宿りの「ノ」が「丿」(へつ)になってる。修正。どうしてこんなミスが起きたのか全く謎だ。

The description on 部首 "丿" is just "の". We can't recognize it's a 部首 by that description.

Steps to reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Type "の"
  2. Convert it
  3. Show candidates

Expected behavior

A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.

The description on the 部首contains the text "部首" (e.g. "部首(の)")

Actual behavior

A clear and concise description of what you actually got.

It's just "の", which is very confusing

Screenshots

If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem.

Both forms are similar at least in Windows.

Version or commit-id

[e.g. Mozc-2.28.4960.100+24.11.oss or d50a8b9]
You can get the version string by converting "Version" or "ばーじょん".

Mozc-2.30.5618.100+24.11.oss (12f8892)

Environment

  • OS: Windows 11
  • IMF (for Linux) [e.g. Ibus, Fcitx, etc] N/A
  • Related Applications None

  • Whether this issue happens on both Ibus and other IMF (e.g. Fcitx, uim).
    • IDK
  • Whether this issue happens on other IMEs (e.g. Anthy, SKK).
    • Probably no
  • What applications this issue happens on (e.g. Chromium, gedit).
    • Probably all
  • What applications this issue does not happen on (e.g. Chromium, gedit).
    • Probably no
  • (optional) What versions or commit-ids this issue did not happen on
    (e.g. Mozc-2.28.4960.100+24.11.oss).
    • list of versions or commit-ids, or no-investigation.

Additional context

Add any other context about the problem here.

Descriptions on other 部首 must be modified for consistency.

They're not in the Kangxi Radicals block but just kanji characters.
Is "部首漢字" is better than just "部首"? (e.g. "部首漢字(の)")
