<body><head>GRAMMATICA PERSIANA</head>
<pb n="VI"/>
<div><head>PREFAZIONE</head>
<pb n="VII"/>
ratura persiana; per me invece esso è l'ultimo portato
<pb n="IX"/>
religione nazionale e quella meravigliosa leggenda epica
<pb n="X"/>
dari dell’ Iran, Gemshid o Minôcihr o qualche altro, come
figure sbiadite e offuscate, che producono in chi legge
ratura pehlevica e dell’ <title>Avesta</title>, deve porgere, a guisa
<pb n="XI"/>
siano, molto semplice, come ognuno sa, e relativamente
Egli divide i
verbi irregolari in 7. classi (pag.
<pb n="XII"/>
tradizionali, laddove cade in acconcio.
tura religiosa che riguarda l’<title>Avesta</title>, e all’ <title>Avesta</title> stesso.
</p><p>
<pb n="XII"/>
(Petropoli, 1867—1871), tanto utili a chi, come me, ha
dovuto studiare lo zendo senza maestri.
</p><p>
<pb n="XIV"/>
fadar, batran, ecc.

bene spesso e talvolta inintelligibili.

<pb n="XVII"/>
Orien-
talische Philologie, Juli-August 1884, I. B. 10. u. 11. Heft,
fa avvertito il collega suo degli errori in cui è caduto;
nocchiato innanzi a sè<ref n="1"/>. Di questo suo contegno l'autore
non ringrazia di certo il Sig. SEYBOLD; ma lo prega di
<note n="1">Ricordiamoci che Giacomo Meyerbeer diceva: ,,Das Hauptthema vieler
Leipzig, 1869, S. 364).</note>
<pb n="XIX"/>

<pb n="3"/>
<div><head>I. ALFABETO.</head>
<pb n="4"/>
fanciullesca.
</p>
<pb n="5"/>
e grandi ingegni, quali Nizâmi, Khâkâni, Hâfiz, Saadi,
Gâmi, e Mirkhondi scrisse le sue storie. Me il fare e
</p>
<deu>altbaktrisch</deu>).
L'Harlez, all’ uso orientale, la chiama ora avestica o
lingua dell’<title>Avesta</title>.
altre parti dell' <title>Avesta</title>.
<pb n="6"/>
molte forme antiquate proprie del <term>pârsi</term> e del <term>pehlevi</term>;
</p>

</list></p>
lunghe, come:
<pb n="9"/>
<list>
<item><f>آ</f> <f2>â</f2> <f>حهفت</f> <f2>fatḥah</f2> <f>باَ</f> <f2>bâ</f2></item>
<item><f>یِ</f> <f2>î</f2> <f>کسره</f> <f2>kasrah</f2> <f>بیِ</f> <f2>bî</f2></item>
<item><f>وُ</f> <f2>û</f2> <f>ضمّه</f> <f2>ḍhammah</f2> <f>بوُ</f> <f2>bû</f2></item>
</list></p>
<f>گير</f>, <f2>gîr</f2>,
<f>بوُدن</f>, <f2>bûdan</f2>; ma spesso anche la kasrah vale ê, e la dhammah
vale <f2>ô</f2>, come:
<f>کيش</f>, <f2>kêsh</f2>,
<f>گوُش</f>, <f2>gôsh</f2>
(cfr. il skr. <skr>ghôsha</skr>,
z. <zen>gaosha</zen>; z. <zend>ṭkaêsha</zend>). Questa differenza sarà notata fra
parentesi, dietro ciascuna parola, nel vocabolario, mentre,
per maggiore uniformità, noi trascriveremo sempre ê e û
nell’ uno e nell’ altro caso.</p>
<p>13. Le lettere <f>ا</f>,
<f>و</f>,
<p>14. Si noti che il gruppo
<f>جوَ</f> <f2>khva</f2>
si deve leggere
khô, e il gruppo
<f>جوَا</f> <f2>khvâ</f2>
si deve pronunciare £4é, come
in
<f>جوَردن</f> <f2>khvardan</f2>,
<f>جوَاهر</f> <f2>khvâhar</f2>,
che devonsi leggere
<f2>khôrdan</f2>, <f2>khâhar</f2>. Nella trascrizione tuttavia, per maggior
chiarezza, scriveremo sempre <f2>khva</f2> e <f2>khvâ</f2>.</p>
laddove s’incontrava qualche caso dubbio.</p>
</p>
<pb n="10"/>
<p>
A, la <f2>ǵazmah</f2>, <f>جزمه</f> ( ْ), che si pone sulle consonanti
che si devono pronunciare senza vocali, come
<f>کُن</f> <f2>kun</f2>,
<f>بَر</f> <f2>bar</f2>; le lettere infatti <f>د</f> e <f>ر</f> non hanno vocali.
</p>
legge <f2>nâmah-i</f2>.
esempio addotto.</p>
<p>D, la maddah, <f>مدّه</f> (<f> ّ</f>), che si pone sulla <f>آهن</f> iniziale
che, in tal caso, diventa lunga, come in <f>آهن</f> <f2>âhan</f2>,
<f>آءردن</f> <f2>âvardan</f2>, <f>آیٔين</f> <f2>âyin</f2>, <f>آموختن</f> <f2>âmûkhtan</f2>.</p>
</div>
<div><head>II. CAMBIAMENTI DI VOCALI E DI CONSONANTI.</head>
iraniche.</p>
<div><head>A. Cambiamenti di vocali.</head>
<p>18. Se due <f2>a</f2>, qualunque sia la loro quantità, s'incontrano, si pone fra loro una <f2>y</f2>, come: <f2>numâ-am</f2> = <f2>numâ-y-am</f2>, <f>نمايم</f>.</p>
<p>19. <f2>â</f2> + <f2>î</f2> diventa <f2>âyî</f2>, frapponendo una <f2>y</f2>, come in
<f2>numâ-î</f2> = <f2>numâ-y-î</f2>, <f>نمایٔی</f> (16, c).</p>
<p>20. <f2>î</f2> seguito da <f2>a</f2> diventa <f2>iy</f2>, come in <f2>giri-am</f2> =
<f2>giriy-am</f2>, <f>گريم</f>.
<pb n="11"/></p>
<p>21. <f2>û</f2> seguito da <f2>a</f2> prende prima di questo <f2>a</f2> una
<f2>y</f2>, come <f2>gû-ad</f2> = <f2>gû-y-ad</f2>, <f>گويد</f> talvolta anche si risolve
in <f2>uv</f2>, come in <f2>bû-am</f2> = <f2>buv-am</f2>, <f>بُوَد</f> raramente diventa
<f2>av</f2>, come in <f2>durû-am</f2> = <f2>durav-am</f2>, <f>دُرَوَم</f>.</p>
<p>22. Quando <f2>û</f2> sia seguito da <f2>î</f2>, fra queste due vocali
si pone una <f2>y</f2>, come in <f2>gû-îd</f2> = <f2>gû-y-id</f2>, <f>غويد</f>.
Nota.</p>
np.
<zend>khshudh</zend>. —
</p>
</div>
<div><head>B. Cambiamenti di consonanti.</head>
<p>23. Quando qualcuno dei suffissi grammaticali che
cominciano per <f2>t</f2>, cioè <f2>-tam</f2>, <f2>-tî</f2>, <f2>-tîm</f2>, <f2>-tîd</f2>, <f2>-tand</f2>, <f2>-tan</f2>, <f2>-tah</f2>,
si unisce a qualche tema, questo <f2>t</f2> si muta in <f2>d</f2>, purchè
il tema termini in vocale o in qualsiasi altra consonante,
eccetto <f2>d</f2>, <f2>v</f2>, <f2>s</f2>, <f2>sh</f2>, <f2>z</f2>, <f2>h</f2>, e la sillaba <f2>âr</f2>. Quindi avremo:
<list>
<item><f2>gâ-tam</f2> = <f2>gâ-dam</f2>, <f>گادم</f>.</item>
<item><f2>âzmû-tah</f2> = <f2>âzmû-dah</f2>, <f>آزموده</f>.</item>
<item><f2>pursî-tan</f2> = <f2>pursî-da</f2>n, <f>پرسيدن</f>.</item>
<item><f2>kar-tand</f2> = <f2>kar-dand</f2>, <f>کردند</f>.</item>
<item><f2>mân-tî</f2> = <f2>mân-dî</f2>, <f>ماندی</f>.</item>
</list></p>
<p>25. Il <f2>b</f2> dinanzi al <f2>t</f2> del suffisso mutasi in <f2>f</f2> come
in <f2>kûb-tah</f2> = <f2>kûf-tah</f2>, <f>کوفته</f>.
<note n="1">ASCOLI, Studi Irani, art. 1o, Sfaldature dell antica aspirata, p. 5 e segg.</note>
<pb n="12"/></p>
<p>26. Il <f2>v</f2> davanti al <f2>t</f2> si cambia in <f2>t</f2>, come: <f2>kâv-tam</f2> =
<f2>kâf-tam</f2>, <f>کافتن</f>; <f2>rav-tan</f2> = <f2>raf-tan</f2>, <f>رفتن</f>. Il tema <f2>gû</f2>
risolve <f2>û</f2> in <f2>uv</f2> e muta <f2>v</f2> in <f2>f</f2> cioè: <f2>guv-tam,</f2>.
<gloss>io dissi</gloss>.</p>
<p>27. La <f2>s</f2> dinanzi al <f2>t</f2> mutasi in <f2>sh</f2>, come in <f2>rîs-tan</f2> =
<f2>rish-tan</f2> e <f2>rish-tan</f2>, <f>ريشتن</f> e <f>رشتن</f></p>
<p>28. La <f2>s</f2> dinanzi a <f2>t</f2> mutasi anche in <f2>kh</f2>, come in
<f2>shinâs-tam</f2> = <f2>shinâkh-tam</f2>, <f>شناختم</f>.</p>
<zend>aiwi-ruć</zend>) innanzi a <f2>t</f2> mutasi in <f2>kh</f2>, come:
<f2>angîz-tan</f2> = <f2>angîkh-tan</f2>, <f>انگيختن</f>.</p>
<p>30. La <f2>h</f2> dinanzi a <f2>t</f2> mutasi in <f2>s</f2>; <f2>angâr-tam</f2> — <f2>angâsh-tan</f2>, <f>کاستم</f>.</p>
<p>31. La sillaba <f2>âr</f2> colla quale terminano molti temi
verbali, innanzi al <f2>t</f2> mutasi in <f2>âsh</f2>, come: <f2>angâr-tan</f2> =
<f2>angâsh-tan</f2> <f>انگاشتن</f>.</p>
in <f2>g</f2>, come: <f2>murdah-ân</f2> = <f2>murdag-ân</f2>, <f>مردگان</f>. A tutto
<f>ǵâmal</f>, <f>جامه</f>, <gloss>veste</gloss>.
Innanzi al suffisso <f2>ât</f2> quest’ <f2>h</f2> si muta in <f2>ǵ</f2> , come in
<f2>nuvishtah-ât</f2> = <f2>nuvishtaǵ-ât</f2>, <f>نوشتخات</f>.
<p>33. Il pronome <f>اين</f> <f2>în</f2> <gloss>questo</gloss>, nella forma di <f>ان</f>
<f2>in</f2>, dinanzi alle parole <f>روز</f> <f2>rûz</f2> (<f2>ô</f2>), <f>شب</f> <f2>shab</f2>, <f>سال</f> <f2>sâl</f2>,
<note n="1"> SPIEGEL, Altpersische Keilinschriften, p. 196.</note>
<pb n="13"/>
muta la <f2>n</f2> in <f2>m</f2>, come: <f>امروز</f> <f2>im-rûz</f2> (<f2>ô</f2>), <gloss>questo giorno, oggi</gloss>; <f>امشب</f> <f2>im-shab</f2>, <gloss>in questa notte</gloss>; <f>امسال</f> <f2>im-sâl</f2>, <gloss>in quest’ anno</gloss>.

<div><head>II. TEORICA DELLE FLESSIONI.</head>
<div><head>A. VERBO.</head>
<div><head>I. TEMI DEL VERBO.</head>
verbi ausiliari, come vedremo.</p>
</div>
<div><head>II. TEMA DEL PRESENTE.</head>
esso termina in consonante; così dal tema <f>بخش</f> <f2>baksh</f2>,
<gloss>donare</gloss>, abbiamo <f>بخشم</f> <f2>bakhsh-am</f2>, <gloss>io dono</gloss>. Se poi il
tema termina in vocale, nell’aggiungere le desinenze del
presente si osservano le regole dei paragrafi 18, 19, 20,
21 e 22. </p>
<p>37. Le terminazioni del presente sono <f2>-am</f2>, <f2>-î</f2>, <f2>-ad</f2>
per il singolare; <f2>-îm</f2>, <f2>-îd</f2>, <f2>-and</f2> per il plurale.</p>
<p>38. Tema in consonante,
<f2>baksh</f2>, <gloss>donare</gloss>:
<pb n="14"/>
<p><f>بخشم</f>, <f2>baksh-am</f2>, <gloss>io dono.</gloss></p>
<p><f>بخشي</f>, <f2>bakhsh-î</f2>, <gloss>tu doni.</gloss></p>
<p><f>بخشد</f>, <f2>bakhsh-ad</f2>, <gloss>egli, ella dona.</gloss></p>
<p><f>بخشيم</f>, <f2>bakhsh-îm</f2>, <gloss>noi doniamo.</gloss></p>
<p><f>بخشيد</f>, <f2>bakhsh-îd</f2>, <gloss>voi donate.</gloss></p>
<p><f>بخشند</f>, <f2>bakhsh-and</f2>, <gloss>essi, esse donano.</gloss></p></p>
<p>39. Temi in vocale, <f2>pâlâ</f2>, <gloss>purgare</gloss>, <f2>girî</f2>, <gloss>piangere</gloss>, <f2>gû</f2>, <gloss>dire</gloss>.
<f2>gû</f2>, <gloss>dire</gloss>:
<p><f>پالايم</f>, <f2>pâlâ-y-am</f2>, <gloss>io purgo.</gloss></p>
<p><f>پالائ</f>, <f2>pâlâ-y-î</f2>, <gloss>tu purghi.</gloss></p>
<p><f>گريد</f>, <f2>girî-y-ad</f2>, <gloss>egli, ella piange.</gloss></p>
<p><f>گرئيم</f>, <f2>girî-y-îm</f2>, <gloss>noi piangiamo.</gloss></p>
<p><f>گرئيد</f>, <f2>gû-y-îd</f2>, <gloss>voi dite.</gloss></p>
<p><f>گريند</f>, <f2>gû-y-and</f2>, <gloss>eglino, elleno dicono.</gloss></p></p>
I temi terminanti
presente. Avremo quindi:
<list>
<item><f>ببخشم</f> <f2>bi-bakhsh-am</f2>, <gloss>io donerò.</gloss></item>
<item><f>ببخشي</f> <f2>bi-bakhsh-î</f2>, <gloss>tu donerai.</gloss></item>
<item><f>بپلايد</f> <f2>bi-pâla-y-ad</f2>, <gloss>egli purgherà.</gloss></item>
<item><f>بپلائيم</f> <f2>bi-pâla-y-im</f2>, <gloss>noi purgheremo.</gloss></item>
<item><f>بگرئيد</f> <f2>bi-giriy-îd</f2>, <gloss>voi piangerete.</gloss></item>
<item><f>بگويند</f> <f2>di-gûy-and</f2>, <gloss>essi, esse diranno.</gloss></item>
</list></p>
<pb n="15"/>
<f>افت</f> <f2>uft</f2> <gloss>cadere</gloss>, fa al futuro <f>به افتم</f> <f2>bih uft-am</f2>, e <f>بئفتم</f>, <f2>bi-y-uft-am</f2>, <gloss>io cadrò</gloss>. Avremo quindi dai temi <f>آج</f>, <f2>aǵ</f2> e
<f>افت</f>, <f2>uft</f2>:
<list>
<item><f>بيآجم</f> <f2>bi-y-âǵ-am</f2>, <gloss>io pianterò.</gloss></item>
<item><f>بيآجی</f> <f2>bi-y-âǵ-î</f2>, <gloss>tu pianterai.</gloss></item>
