Project Details

Parts of various variant, evidence, and assertion curation workflows tend to happen outside of CIViC. With that, a lot of discussion, knowledge acquisition, and decisions are lost to the wider CIViC user base since the happen opaquely outside of CIViC.

The discussion group will try to explore different options of which features might be useful to allow more of this work to happen inside of CIViC. Some ideas are:

  • Autosaving of in-progress revisions/submission
  • Allowing the creation of "draft" evidence items and and assertions that can be incomplete and not (yet) pass the full CIViC validation, and can be edited without going through a formal revision cycle.
  • Enable creation and assigning of tasks and having a dashboard to see tasks assigned to you

Required Knowledge

@susannasiebert Thanks for the chat - a message to consider if bulk upload into draft status is possible :)
