Migrated from http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GMAVENPLUS-13.

Joint compilation fails with Groovy 1.9-beta-1 and 1.9-beta-2, but not with 1.9-beta-3. It's puzzling why since the only code that seems to have changed between beta-2 and beta-3 is class generation stuff.
