I was trying to update the $PATH variable from a chomp task, and found that chomp can't update my host $PATH from within a chomp task

[[task]]
name = 'update-hosts-path'
run = '''
  export "PATH=$PATH:$(pwd)/bin"
'''

This command runs successfully, but $(pwd)/bin is not added to my path
