Which type of specialized account are creating? If more than one apply, please select the primary type.

Bot Account

How do you fit in with the community?

The selfcare account provides prompts that encourage followers to take care of themselves.

How will you ensure the community is protected?

As a bot, the selfcare account functions off a set grammar of prompts and does not use AI to generate responses. All posts coming from that grammar are monitored by a human.

(Accounts with Automated Posting/Bot Accounts Only)

What method are you using to validate your bots code to ensure that any future updates don't disrupt the community?

The bot runs on a set grammar, rather than generated content. If the service (Cheap Bots, Toot Sweet) goes down, the bot will simply stop posting.

👋 You've been added to the approval page. Right now it looks like GitHub Actions are failing on the build, so we're taking a look at that. Once that resolves, the changes will be live and you can proceed to the next step below. Until then, please continue to post / migrate / etc. normally - this is a technical issue and not on you :)

Next step once Actions resolve:

Please follow the instructions on the Account Verification page to add https://community.hachyderm.io/approved/ to your profile meta data with the name/label APPROVED. Once this is done it should show as green on your profile. If so, please close this ticket. If the verification fails for some reason, please let us know here and leave the ticket open.

Update: the issue with GitHub Actions is now resolved (it looks like we were using Latest for Hugo instead of locking the version number, that's now fixed.)

Your bot is now live on the Approved page. Please follow the instructions above to add the URL to your profile.
