BallotNav is a navigation tool created by Hack for LA that aims to prevent election disenfranchisement by providing reliable and up-to-date information on ballot drop-off locations, directions, times of operation, and election official contact information.
BallotNav was started in the summer of 2020 as a safe and reliable solution to the barriers voters were facing during the 2020 presidential election, such as a global pandemic, misinformation in the media around voting by mail, and budget cuts to the United States Postal Service.
