I added a template for note-taking/analysis inside the analysis folder. Please use the spreadsheet to add your notes and observations. I suggest each person make their own copy and add their name to the file title. For example FF: Cover Page- Usability study note-taking - Yas.

@allthatyazz allthatyazz changed the title Analyze Figma Foundations (cover page) usability test 1 FF: Analyze the usability test : Cover page -Participant 1 Apr 14, 2022

draft of analysis issue template #396

Analyzing Action Items

  • Read article on analyzing usability tests
  • Comment on this analysis issue who has been assigned to analyze the video
  • Watch the recording and observe participant behavior
  • Take notes in the Analysis folder using the spreadsheet template. Calculate quant metrics in the spreadsheet, if there are any.
  • List problems and classify them as critical (If we do not fix this, users will not be able to complete the scenario), serious (many users will be frustrated if we do not fix this; they may give up) or minor (users are annoyed, but this does not keep them from completing the scenario)
  • Revisit analysis findings as more people participate in the usability test

  • Added a template to the main body of this issue as well as Participant 2 analysis #419, so that each person assigned analysis can copy the template and follow the subtasks. Tasks in the issue's main body should be the assignees. This way, the wheel of the issue will accurately reflect issue progress. (For more context, see Github heuristics evaluation milestone
