it is useful to know the LOC of each simulator. In general, LOC is a measure of software complexity. From the perspective of a simulator user, LOC indicates the amount of effort required to become familiar with the simulator to make changes to it. From the perspective of a simulator developer, LOC indicates the amount of effort required to maintain the simulator.
