Description

It would be very convenient to have a datasource that could search for existing VMs/templates. Data source could use as input:

  • vm name
  • node
  • vmid
  • tags
  • if it is template

Use Case(s)

I would like to rebuild my vms periodically so the template gets all the most frequent fixes. Then I have vmid to clone that changes over time. To have it working it would be best to use tags and/or name to find all matching templates.
