when i try a test connection it can't change directories (in info mode it say it's ok..)

..ok first cwd should be media, that's why i did not see anything.

Ok, i successful uploaded some files, but i can't figure out on how to have the media dir as root, when accessing to ftp.
That's because i have some devices who don't let me change the dir name or the path, but they use a custom structure.

would be useful to choose the root path (if allowed, of course).

Hi, got the same issue if you write to root it seems to go somewhere I guess into the home dictionary of the user that is uploading, as every other user can not see this data. I'm also confused as I thought the config meant that you cannot write to root.

I have investigated a bit more if a uses writes to the root dictionary, the files will go into the docker container of the ftp server:
/ftproot/users/{user} is the place.
If the server is restarted the files are deleted.
IMHO writing to root should be forbidden for all users to prevent this issue.
