hBlock interferes with Wifi access on Android smartphone

Since one of the last updates (at least anything that was added after the 5th of december) led to an exclamation point appearing (and limited internet access) on android wifi

I'm using NextDNS and added hBlock to the security list (it worked fine before)
Since yesterday i got an exclamation point and limited internet access
Browsers (with no further security settings) still work and load sites fine, but eMail, and other apps accessing the net, wouldn't.

• OS: Android 14
• NextDNS through the router, so every machine picks it up

After removing (through a lot of trial and error) hBlock (solely!) from the DNS block list, everything is back to normal

It's a regression due to one of the latest updates, because, as i mentioned, it still worked fine on the 5th of december
