This part of the book summarises the organisation of the &vwg;.
</para>
<para>The &hepix; is an organisation and gathering of large predominately &hep; site
administrators with the objective of sharing information and benefiting from each others experiences.</para>
<para>The &vwg; was set up by &hepix; to investigate the implications use-cases and requirements of sites
that where at the time expected to come from the relatively new technology of &vm; technology. The
group is chaired by Tony Cass and has met regularly and maintains a mailing list
<email>[email protected]</email> where the majority of the content of this document is extracted from.</para>
