We can follow the structure in https://github.com/hexagonaljs/rails-example or https://github.com/hexagonaljs/wrocloverb-workshop-example

Defaults worth considering:

app/views/spa/index.html.erb (haml) as the main place for javascripts declarations.
app/assets/javascripts/*.coffee as the main hexagonaljs files

Consider using:

https://github.com/leshill/handlebars_assets
jquery_rails

instead of copying them into the app
