Is the OL Java code thread-safe?

Please document the response as e.g. in a README file or javadoc.

There's a bug report in Sourceforge that could be related to thread-safety, but not sure if the issue has already been addressed: https://sourceforge.net/p/hfst/bugs/303/

So RE your earlier post on Sourceforge -- it looks like licensing does permit since they're both Apache v2. I think the thing to do is: look at the history of this repository back to the version https://github.com/jiemakel/seco-hfst is based on and collect all the changes made since then and manually replay them on top of seco-hfst and then replace the hfst-optimized-lookup-java directory with that. But are PRs being accepted on this repository currently?
