I might be missing something here, but plotting the maps no-all-svalbard-and-jan-mayen.svg and no-all.geo.json gives me a quite ugly looking map of norway.
The main map format used and recommend for Highcharts Maps is TopoJSON. Other formats require additional work when it comes to the map projection and potentially loading some 3rd party libraries to handle the projection.
It should be possible to set a better (less ugly) projection to SVG and GeoJSON formats of those maps and this issue could get even higher priority if you could provide the use case - maybe there's a better way altogether to get what you need.
Thanks for explaining. For my use case, I am an R user and use the maps with the highcharter package. Even though I would like to, I have not found a way to use the topojson format directly in Highcharter.
I have been a happy user of the maps of norway earlier(the 2023 maps and earlier). Sso my wish is to also have the maps with the 2024-regions look similar.
