With ersion 1.10.2 on macOS I receive:

command 'workbench.action.files.openFolder' not found

It should probably address workbench.action.files.openFileFolder instead

Unfortunately this project has been abandoned. Checkout
https://github.com/SebastianZaha/vscode-emacs-friendly
It's a fork of this in active development and with many improvements. It's available from vscode as 'vscode-emacs-friendly'
