App may get "stuck" on edit page

One user reported that the app got stuck on the edit page. He searched for a client, changed the client's gender, and hit save. Nothing happened. We would expect the app to either display an error or save and return to the search screen.

I need to try to reproduce this. The user was in Chrome.
